Electric Bento offers a diverse menu of technology topics that let you get in, get out and leave satisfied. Each of our news articles, commentary pieces and reviews comes with a Food Equivalent rating, affectionately known as a “FEq.” You may ask “What the FEq?” now, but as you get familiar with our foodie-meets-gamer-meets-technophile approach, you’ll soon “give a FEq” yourself.
A small team of narrative chefs gives Electric Bento its flavor. Our size requires that we don’t cover all games, gadgets, movies and mobile — but we’ll have the biggest stuff covered and smothered. The Internet is overrun with niche websites whose writers are pressured to cover every topic at every hour of every day. The result is mindless copy/paste work without any analysis or insight. Electric Bento is not one of those sites, and our writers are not those people. That’s where the FEq comes in — a unique way to assess whether something’s hot and juicy or disappointingly bland.
Electric Bento was founded in 2010 to focus on mobile news, but our tech spectrum has widened considerably. Console games, personal tech, Blu-ray movies, home entertainment — you’ve got an appetite for a variety of things. So do we. So sit down, relax, and peruse the tasty morsels of tech news on the Electric Bento menu. We’re just getting started, and we hope you’ll find yourself coming back time and again for the electronic news du jour with a twist.
