Booker T will serve as a judge for Gen.G's 'Building Connctions' Minecraft tournament

Booker T has been a king. Now he’ll be a judge.

The WWE Hall-of-Famer will be a judge for a Minecraft Pocket-Edition Build Contest. Global esports organization Gen.G made the announcement today. Gen.G is partnering with Samsung, which is presenting the event.

“I’m thrilled to be able to take part in such a unique event,” Booker T said in a press release from Gen. G. “It’s going to be fun, and this is something we’ll be talking about for years to come.”

Booker T continued, “I’m looking forward to sharing this experience with my kids, who have been building some incredible structures, the other judges, and the Minecraft community.”

Other celebrity judges include Minecraft content creator Ryguyrocky and Minecraft streamer Shuble.

Per the press release, the prize pool includes a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G and AKG N60 Noise Cancelling Headphones. Builders will also play for a Galaxy Watch Active2 and Galaxy Play Store Credits.

The theme of the build competition is “Building Connections.” It encourages builders to build the “people, places, and things that keep them connected.”
