Code Vein, one of our most anticipated games of 2019, has opened preorders on the digital deluxe edition on Xbox One, Steam, and PlayStation 4 digital storefronts. The digital deluxe edition of Code Vein will be launching with a handful of digital goodies, but the most important one is probably the season pass. We had the opportunity to go hands on with Code Vein at E3 this year, and it was shaping up to be a monster of a time.
We thought that Code Vein is one that should be on everyone who is a fan of the Soulsborne games’ radar. The enemies are monstrous and often hulking, and every enemy is a serious threat. After being delayed a few times, Code Vein is finally releasing on September 27, 2019.
In addition to detailing the season pass, Bandai Namco has detailed the other preorder bonuses and in-game items players will receive from the digital deluxe edition:
Exclusive Digital pre-order offers:
- God Eater collaboration weapon set- includes the Blanched Greatsword, Cerulean Spear, and Crimson Longsword
- Venous Claw
- Harbinger Blood Code unlock: Desperate Burst skill
- Bonus cosmetic items
- Communication stamps
The season pass for Code Vein will include a handful of items, including three pieces of story DLC. The season pass includes:
- A costume for Mia
- Astrea Blood Code unlock: Gift Extension skill, Lightning Spike skill, Guardian Aid skill, Torchbearer skill
- DLC: Abyss of the Thunder, Abyss of the Fire, and Abyss of the Ice
Bandai Namco recently revealed a new boss that players should expect to battle during the campaign, the Successor of the Ribcage, which looks like a wolf with human arms. If Code Vein continues this trend, the monsters that players will encounter should be pretty terrifying.
Along with announcing the availability of digital deluxe preorders, a new video in the behind-the-scenes series for Code Vein was released today as well, and can be seen below. Stay tuned with us as we get closer to launch for full coverage on the upcoming action RPG.
