After showing off the Successor of the Ribcage boss in June, Code Vein publisher Bandai Namco have revealed a new threat for players to take down: the Butterfly of Delirium. The Butterfly of Delirium has a host of monstrous attacks, with two large heads to attack players, as well as a number of ranged attacks to strike from afar.

This follows the Successor of the Ribcage boss who also wields a number of limbs to fight players on top of electricity based ranged attacks. Code Vein finally launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next month on the 27th, and we had the opportunity to check it out at this year’s E3. We thought that “Code Vein is one that should be on everyone who is a fan of the Soulsborne games’ radar. The enemies are monstrous and often hulking, and every enemy is a serious threat.”

Story Context

September is a busy month for gamers, with Gears of War 5, Borderlands 3, and Catherine: Full Body all launching within a few weeks of each other, but Code Vein’s difficult monsters seem like a fitting way to close out the month.
