The biggest question coming out of the previous beta weekends for Call of Duty Black Ops 4 was “what will the battle royale segment look like?”

Now, players can get their answer when they jump into the Blackout beta running from now until the 17th. We really enjoyed the time we spent with the multiplayer beta, and have already put more than a few hours into the Blackout portion. This mode is Treyarch’s celebration of the Black Ops universe, and there are a ton of weapons, perks, and surprises hiding throughout the large map. Keep your eyes peeled to Electric Bento later this week for our full impressions. For now though, jump into the intense beta to get your hands on it and see for yourself.

The beta runs until Monday the 17th for Playstation 4, and will open up this weekend on the 14th for Xbox One players and early PC players, and the 15th for open beta on PC. All consoles run until September 17th so make your time count.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 launches October 12th for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC through Battle.net. Preorders are still available here.
