Bandai Namco’s Aragami slaying title God Eater 3 has received a new patch featuring free new content for players. The new update has a few new missions included. The first is a new episode titled “Another Devil”, and the second is a new 8-player co-op assault mission. The content list included is pretty large for a free update, and also includes two new Aragami for players to fight, two new NPC’s, new customization options, Burst Arts, Engage effects, and Burst Arts effects.
This news follows last month’s news that the title will be launching for Nintendo Switch on July 12th. Anyone who preorders God Eater 3 for Switch will receive exclusive Yuri and Estelle costumes from Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition for use in game, which can be preordered now. When it first launched, we thought that “despite the UI clunkiness and slightly dated visuals, teaming up with friends is lots of fun in God Eater 3. The single-player mode is no slouch, either. Loads of story and side missions will keep players engaged, even when the story gets bogged down with anime clichés now and then.”
There’s also a new story trailer for players to check out for God Eater 3, which can be seen below. We aren’t sure what new content, if any, will be coming for the Nintendo Switch version, but you can be sure we’ll be covering that version extensively. The shorter missions of God Eater 3 lend very well for Nintendo’s on the go console. We’ll be on the ground at E3 this year, so we’re hoping the Switch version will be on display alongside Bandai’s Namco’s other upcoming titles so we can get some hands on time.
God Eater 3 is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC. It launches July 12th for Nintendo Switch. Preorders for the Switch version are available here.
