Ahead of the February 15th launch, Bandai Namco has revealed the dates from the open beta for upcoming anime brawler, JUMP FORCE.
Similar to other betas that Bandai Namco has run, the beta will run for a few days, but only during certain times. On this outing, the open beta for JUMP FORCE will begin on January 18th and will be open for four different sessions:
Friday, January 18th at 4:00am – 7:00am PST/7:00am – 10:00am EST
Friday, January 18th at 9:00pm – 12:00am PST/12:00am – 3:00am EST January 19th
Saturday, January 19th at 8:00am – 11:00am PST/11:00am – 2:00pm EST
Sunday, January 20th at 12:00pm – 3:00pm PST/3:00pm – 6:00pm EST
The upcoming brawler has received more than a handful of roster updates since it’s E3 launch, including characters from Saint Seiya, Rurouni Kenshin, Black Clover, and Yu-Gi-Oh. The lineup of characters spans a large breadth of IP’s, and is meant to be a celebration of Shonen Jump’s 50th anniversary.
JUMP FORCE is still available for preorder in a few different editions. The standard edition comes with the base game of JUMP FORCE. There is also a digital deluxe edition that comes with the game and season pass with as of yet unannounced fighters. Finally, a pricey (but awesome), collector’s edition is still available, which comes with the full game, three art boards, an incredible statue of Goku, Luffy, and Naruto, and a steelbook. These three versions come in at $59.99, $89.99, and $259.99, respectively.
There’s still about a month until the launch of JUMP FORCE, so I’d be surprised if Bandai Namco didn’t still have a few more surprise announcements up their sleeve. Stay tuned to Electric Bento for further coverage of any new news as it comes in leading up to the launch of the anticipated brawler.
JUMP FORCE launches February 15th for Playstation 4, and Xbox One. Preorders are still available here.
