Ahead of My Hero Academia’s Season 4 premier, Bandai Namco have revealed that fan favorite character Mirio Togata will be joining the My Hero One’s Justice 2 roster when it launches next year. Mirio was introduced in the last few episodes of season 3, and will play an integral role in My Hero Academia’s fourth season. A third year student, and member of “The Big Three”, Mirio is a hero with an incredibly powerful quirk.
When My Hero One’s Justice launched late last year for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, we enjoyed our time with it, even if it was a bit shallow. We thought that: “As one of the most prominent anime currently airing, My Hero One’s Justice feels more like a base of things to come than anything else. There are lots of things to like here, but not much to love. A lackluster story-mode combined with shallow combat doesn’t make this feel like the My Hero Academia game fans deserve, but at the same time the huge fights with the flashy attacks mirror the show and make for a dazzling spectacle.”
We don’t have a release date yet for My Hero One’s Justice 2, other than that it launches sometime next year. Until then, fans can check out the season 4 premier of My Hero Academia on October 12th. Season 3 ended almost a year ago, so it’s been some time since we’ve been able to follow Izuku Midoriya on his journey to become the number one hero. Be sure to stay tuned with us between now and launch for more news on My Hero One’s Justice 2.
