Oliver and Drippy looking over ding dong dell

Ahead of its Friday launch, Bandai Namco have released the launch trailer for Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch Remastered. This remaster is a revamped version of the acclaimed 2013 title, built for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. The release marks the first time it can be enjoyed at 4K resolution at 30 frames per second, or 1440p at 60 frames per second.

In addition to the remastered version, this release marks the first time that Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch can be enjoyed on a Nintendo Console. The Nintendo Switch version of Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch will run at 720p, 30 frames per second docked and portable. Both versions of Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch will launch this Friday, September 20th. Additionally, both the Switch version and the remastered version will include all DLC and extra content released.

Ni No Kuni: Wrath Of The White Witch Remastered follows the release of the sequel, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom from last year, which we awarded an 8.9. When it launched, we thought that: “There are a lot of systems at play in Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, and most of them complement each other in distinct ways. The lack of fully animated cutscenes and true character depth are the main things that hold the whimsical and often fun story of self-discovery back, while the fast and responsive combat system push players forward.”

Check out the launch trailer for below, and stay tuned with us over the next day or so to see our full thoughts on the time we’ve sunk into the remaster of the 2013 RPG.
