Golem release date announced

After being announced almost 4 years ago, PSVR exclusive title Golem will finally be launch next month. Initially announced for a March 2018 launch, the title was delayed for extra polishing. Launching initially on November 8th, Golem has a little bit of a convoluted launch schedule. The title will first be available in European territories physically on the 8th, followed by a North American release “on or as close to” that date as possible. The digital version of Golem will be available on November 12th in all territories.

Players take control of Twine. After being injured in an accident, the young boy develops the ability to create and control large stone Golems to see the world through their eyes. Players will explore an abandon city as these golems, as they discover the connection between the city and your family. Players will have to feint, block, and counter enemies in 1v1 combat in Golem, a title built from the ground up for PSVR.

Developed by Highwire Studios, Golem is the first title from the new studio, which was founded by Marty O’Donnell, Jaime Griesemer, and Jared Noftle. It’s been a while since it was announced way back in 2015 at PlayStation Experience, but the wait is almost over. As an additional bonus, the physical version of Golem will come with a digital version of “Echoes of the First Dream,” a musical prequel to the game. Check out the announcement trailer below, and stay tuned with us around launch time for full coverage on this new PSVR title.
