After a brief teaser, and a full reveal at E3 2018, Activision has released the launch trailer for FromSoftware’s latest title, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
Launching in a few short weeks, Sekiro takes place in 16th century Japan, after a warrior is left for dead and has his arm severed, gets a new prosthetic and earns the name Sekiro, which translates to one-armed wolf. Developed by the legendary Hidetaka Miyazaki of the Souls and Bloodbourne franchises, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is an all new IP from the developer, and is being published by Activision. This outing differs from previous titles from the famed developers by not featuring RPG elements, instead focusing on poise and balance to take down enemies.
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will be launching for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 22nd. Alongside the regular version of the game will be a collector’s edition. The collector’s edition will include a steelbook case, a figurine of Sekiro, an art book, a physical map, a download code for the OST, and in-game coin replicas.
