The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 Warehouse Demo kickflips off on Friday, August 14th at 8 a.m. Pacific Time for those who pre-ordered the game. You’ll be able to tackle the most iconic level from the franchise; the Warehouse as the legendary Tony Hawk.
For the demo, players will be able to take part in a classic skate session. You’ll have two minutes to knock out as many tricks as you can and too see how much score you can rack up. If you’re not happy with your score, no worries, simply hit the retry button. There is no limit to the number of sessions you can take.
After each session you’ll receive a score breakdown which details stuff like your longest combo, but you’ll got more individualized states based on how you performed during that session.
Players will have a small sampling of the full soundtrack to listen to. You’ll be able to select which songs to play through the Audio Settings menu. Players will have access to:
Billy Talent – “Afraid of Heights”
Goldfinger – “Superman”
Rage Against the Machine – “Guerrilla Radio”
Tyrone Briggs – “Lose Control”
This time, Vicarious Visions, made sure the experience doesn’t include just tricks from the original games, but is bringing in moves from sequels and current pros. Players will have the change to completely re-map Tony Hawk’s trick list.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 from developer Vicarious Visions will be released on September 4 for the PS4 and Xbox One and will come in three different editions. The standard edition includes the games and retails for $39.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition comes with exclusive in-game gear and more. The Collector’s Edition retails for $99.99 and includes a limited edition Birdhouse skate deck.
